What these numbers mean in practice
Minimum 1000 pixels tall by 625 wide, ideally 2560 by 1600, and no more than 10000 pixels on either side or 50 MB. Amazon asks for a height-to-width ratio of at least 1.6:1 and an RGB colour profile. KDP also accepts TIFF, which FileBelow does not produce — use JPEG.
A cover that does not meet the specification blocks publication, and the cover thumbnail is the single thing a browsing reader sees first.
How FileBelow applies them
Choosing this destination sets every rule above at once. After processing, the result panel shows one line per rule with a pass or fail beside it, so you can see that the file genuinely complies rather than hoping it does.
Where the specification sets a minimum size rather than an exact one, FileBelow keeps as much resolution as it can while meeting the other rules, and never scales below the stated minimum.
